It would accomplish two things first it would reduce the carbon emissions of criss-crossing the country and second it would create more jobs. Obviously, everytime they get a package, they cannot put it on a truck and take it straight to the destination. It is more efficient for them to send packages to a central place, sort them by where they are going, and then take all package destined for one area (such as Kelowna) at the same time. It allows them to move packages more efficiently and quickly.
